I love this time of year. It’s a busy period in the wildlife photography calendar with all the major competition results  announced.

First up, the prestigious British Wildlife Photography awards. I’m delighted to say that a couple of my images made the final cut, a Water Vole and a Red Squirrel. Looking forward to seeing both of them in the book and exhibition.

Many congrats to Richard Shucksmith, the overall winner. Particularly pleased that an underwater image got the top prize AND from a remote location.

Great to see good friends Mark Sisson, Andrew Parkinson and Ian Haskell winning categories also. Nice one guys!

    Hi Jules,

Echoing what Andy said really – I know both of your images well and they will look good in the book for sure.

    All best

Cheers Andy. I know it’s only modest success but as I said to Dan when I put my entires in this year, I’ll be happy with a couple in the book :):):)
